What is a VBF file?
Versatile Binary Format — a container (used by Volvo, Ford and others) holding ECU data blocks plus a text header and CRC-16 checks. This tool flattens it to a raw .bin.
Are the CRC checks validated?
Yes, block CRCs are read and used while assembling the image. The output is the calibration laid out at its true addresses.
Where is my file processed?
Securely on our servers. The .vbf is parsed, the .bin sent back, and nothing is kept afterwards.
