What does a file conversion cost?
HPT to BIN is free on the website and in the app, and the .bin downloads on the spot. Every other conversion runs in the Windows app under the $300 per month Pro subscription, with no per-file charge on top.
What does an ECU unlock cost?
ECU unlock is part of the $300 per month Pro subscription, so there is no per-ECU fee. It covers GPEC2, GPEC2A, GPEC3, GPEC4, GM T87A (6/8/10-speed) and Ford MD1 controllers, and the app checks your read before it unlocks anything.
How do I pay and receive my file?
The app is free to download and HPT to BIN conversion is included at no cost. Everything else, the other conversions, ECU unlock and the tune analyser, comes with the $300 per month Pro subscription. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange payment and we send you an activation key.
Which files are supported?
HP Tuners .hpt (version conversion, HPT to BIN, inspection), EFILive .ctz, EFILive .xcal and plain Intel .hex, and .vbf — all producing a flat .bin. ECU unlock covers GPEC2/2A/3/4, GM T87A (6/8/10-speed) and Ford MD1.
What happens to my file?
When you convert or inspect a file, it is sent to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, processed, and the result is returned to you. We do not keep your tune file after the job is finished. For an ECU unlock you send the read to us on a private channel (WhatsApp), and we delete it once the unlocked file has been delivered.
Do you change my tune data?
No. The calibration is preserved bit-for-bit — only the container or version wrapper changes. Every converter is verified byte-for-byte against real tuning files before it ships.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the cases set out in our refund policy — a file that does not match its description, a duplicate charge, or a download we cannot make work. Email support@hptbin.com with your order reference.
Something didn't work — how do I get help?
Email support@hptbin.com. Include the file type, the software and version you are running, and what you were trying to do. Never send us tunes you do not own.
